New Pico Cub LG mod

I got tired of various LG fixes and patches continually failing on my Pico F Cub. And when the LG didnt fail the GWS tire did.
So I have gone to TREXELERS. In the following pictures I used #4 which are 2.125" and weight about 12 gram/pair. Clearly this is overkill but does exist in the real world (28" tires I believe in some mods). I recommend #2 size which are 1/2 the weight unless you have some extra power as I do. The total weight of this with the #4s exceeds .5 oz and that will hurt the perf of A motored Cubs. I use a D carbon brush motor with 12x8 or 11x8 on Qualcomm 830s and it has a very nice climb and ROG.
The pictures should be self explanitory, but fell free to ask.....
the extra bracing, shock asorbsion, and floation really helps on the rough winter fields I fly on and I think it looks sooooo cool.

Ps , you rearrange this so the TeePins are soldiered to the axle or LG leg and put the lower rubberbands on to a new centerframe- you can duplicate the original J3 shockcord layout. Thats for the next iteration....

This shows the Golden Rod pushrod core I used to retain the rear wire in the fuelage bottom. This pushrod is a very convoluted profile that allow alot of contact for glueing. I used Epoxy.
I ommitted the LG leg panel for clarity, extra material to make one can be found in the sheet your rudder/elevator came from.
Axle material was 1/8" aluminum tubing installed with thick CA
