try
a piece of 320 grade wet and dry sanding paper wrapped around the shaft and score it along the shaft not around, till you see that the high polish is well marked up, spray with some contact cleaner or similar to get rid of any sillicone from the paper and any oils, check inside the alloy bore on the prop adaptor and clean with a pipe cleaner ,when fitting the adaptor the taper should have just a oil smear and also the thread, you should find that your problem is solved , check your speed control that its set on soft or no brake, as sudden braking can make the problem worse.
