R/C Driver magazine

Recently, I bought an issue(9-04) of R/C Driver magazine. Of the four
that are sold at the local BAM, it was the least expensive($3.99).
I've been a subscriber to RCCA for several years, since I saw a copy
in a doctor's office. I was curious about the difference between the
two, since I've seen a few threads here, discussing the best magazine.

RCD seems to have very few Traxxis & Reedy battery ads, which are very
prominent in RCCA. Then, of course, RCD has a few articles which do
not pertain to R/C cars. I liked the article about the slot car track.
When I was young, back in the 2nd half of the '60's, I subscribed to
Car Model, & Model Car Science magazines. Anybody remember those?

Anybody else have any thoughts on R/C Driver? Thanks, Mr. Darian

Re: R/C Driver magazine

I like RC Driver. The reviews are a little light on detail, but at least you
don't get that "Traxxas is God" reviewing style that RCCA has (and I like
Traxxas as much as the next man, but enough is enough)

Also I like the fact that Rc Driver has articles on RC Boats and even
robotics.

And I believe that RC Driver is working on some sort of T-Maxx mod which
will turn it into a remote controlled lawn mower or something!

I like it, plus, like you say, its cheaper.

I like R/C Driver, and it's Fly R/C sibling. I crash airplanes, too.
