The Gorge at Hood River
I'm heading to Hood River this weekend. Bringing my new 60" foamie, GULP SR-T.
Could someone recommend a slope to fly. Someone said Timbers?? This was helpful... the PASS site: http://rchomepage.com/~passoari/sites/sites.htm.

You should head to Cape Blanco in Southern Oregon. A few of the guys that fly Hood are heading down to the event at Cape Blanco. Here is the link to the event:
It is a great spot to fly. If you can't make it, then Timbers is a great spot. Been there, but don't know the directions. Hopefully someone will pipe in.
I have a Gulp DS and really like the way if fly's. Post your results, on the SR-T.
That is Hood on my Avitar!

Dang, I live about 1/2 the time in Hood River.... Where do you fly there?!?! Up Hwy 35 to the "old dalles road"? or Parkdale off of Bald Butte?

Good looking plane!
Lumber is the site I have been to. There is also a site above White Salmon, not sure of the name.

I don't know if the Lumber site is open right now, it usually closes this time of year due to fire danger. Not sure though, as they did get some rain. Bald Butte usually doesn't close that I know of. I like the Lumber site a bit better as it's somewhat closer for me, but they are both fun. And I think the lift is a bit smoother at Bald...
