Jr Models Cap 232
I got this model on sunday and completed it this evening.
It is the JR Models Cap 232.
recommended setup is a speed 400 on 1:2.3 gearbox and a 8x5 prop.
I chose to go the Typhoon 15 (10 turn)i had one i had removed out a model ages ago and needed a home.
I am using a Jeti 18 advance esc.
prop is 9x3.8 apc-e
it is a quality model with a fibreglass fuselage.
The wings are built up and it comes with loads of BREITLING stickers to ad.
The only cons i found were the motor is a nitemare to install as there is no hatch near nose and the nose is quite long from the wing leading edge position where access is gained.
I also found the pushrods supplied to be very flexiable so i have installed both the elevator and Rudder servo;s under the tailplane as the larger models do.This makes for very short pushrods which are very responsive.
I have test run it and using a charged pack of 8x1800 KANS which are rather heavy it will prop hang at just short of full throttle.
I was hoping to use a new pack of POLY-QUEST 2200 10 c 3s1P pack i have but this pck fits in great but is too light to get the CG right.
Here are a few pictures. The maiden will be tommorrow during the day.
If anyone has one fo these or build and flown one some input would be great.

Interesting plane. I've been looking at their Staudacher 3D-E but don't know how to get one over here in the States. Anyway, try this link for info on your Cap: http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/a...?article_id=22
