Shock-Flyer "Face-Lift"

Sorry - no pictures, just an Update.

Last weekend, when visting MAMO-models, I looked at some Ikarus Shock-Flyer kits from the latest production series. Wow! The color printing is better than anything I have seen before on these kits, and with the new diecutting tools, the parts really fit very well.

Three weeks from now, I hope to get some shots of a new Shock-Flyer prototype. Watch this space.

Jürgen

I received a couple the other day, just making sure that I have enough airframes for the up coming indoor season

The diecutting is so crisp, I think the serrated cut helps with this. The colours are indeed very crisp as well. The ailerons and elevator are now also pre cut.

My first three Shockies were obtained last Novomber direct from Ikarus and the printing was very poor.

Looking forward to the new one. Will it be anything like the pattern orientated design that Martin and Steph flew at Dortmund?

No, it is another aerobatic design, but I can't say more without getting into trouble.

Hallo Jürgen,
Do you know if Ikarus prepare some new Shockies, like Sukhoi or a bipe maybe ?

There are new designs "in the pipeline" - that's all I can say for now. Jürgen

Maybe one without a flat plate? A bipe would be cool as well.

Jurgen, if the Ezone pitches in and makes you a donation, maybe you'll let it slip?:d
