Newest Beaver in my fleet

Ok all you GWS Beaver fans, here is my new Beaver done up in a High Vis U.S. Army paint scheme. This plane flys great and is a perfect trainer for my wife. The plane is mostly stock with the exception to the DuBro wheels and Econo Cote hinges. I left the plane white and painted it with Model Master Acryl Insignia red and Flat Black with a cheap 8814 airbrush. The decals are homemade with my Mac and light weight vinyl. Can't wait to put floats and skis on it

Cheers
Jim

That looks so clean and sharp. I love how it turned out. Great job on the Beaver. Now I want to build another in those colors, but I will hold off untill my old Beaver dies first.

I'm considering getting a trainer-sort-of-plane for my father since he is showing some interest in the hobby.
I know the Beaver doesn't come with ailerons as standard, but do you get the wires and equipment needed to convert it to such a plane?

Or perhaps its best to get an E-Starter?

Styx: No the Beaver is only Rudder, Elevator and Throttle. If you want a standard four channel, the E-Starter is one of the best models for the money, I have one just have not built it yet.

Modman: Awesome BN-2! I will have to do that scheme on mine. I usally do British or Canadian stuff, hence my handel RAFGuy This time I thought it would be fun to do something different, plus it is easy to see. My Formosa might have a Canadian Snow Bird scheme though!

hty: When I get into the office tomorow I'll post some more pics. The madian was last week and she flew great, maybe some in flight shots soon.

Thanks all,
Jim

Vamooska, no problem. I can get some more pics of other planes, wait till you see the Mustang I'm painting up!

Modman, that is cool, I always thought they paint scheme was real eye catching and the Formosa lends itself to the Snowbirds scheme. I was going to do either a Canadian or British camo Beaver, but those camo colors are hard to see when the sun starts to set

Cheers,
Jim
