Twist lock latches

I'm looking for small light weight twist lock Dzus type fasteners. Does anyone know where I can get something like that or have any ideas ?? I want to recess it into a carbon fiber panel I made. Thanks

before you spend a fortune on those fastiners, you might want to go to your "big Name" hardware store, and see if they have any of the fastiners that are used in "pre-fab" wood furniture kits. I've seen some pretty small fastiners used in shelfing, so they must sell replacments for them. Good luck

Mc master is the way to go

Hello,

McMaster Carr has just about everything you could ever need. Where else can you buy Tampons in bulk and Lasers micrometers at the same place LOL.

In the search fields try captive fasteners. I found some but they may be too big on page 3057. you can jump to page 3057 if you put that in the search field as well.

Best regards,

Marc Webster

Many thanks for all the replies. The Master Carr fasteners on page 3057 look like they will do the trick, going to order a bunch tomorrow.

I had looked all over the internet, surplus nuts and bolts stores and many many harware stores with no luck. Again many thanks to all

It looks like the fasteners on the bottom of page 3057 might work. They kind of remind me of the metal pins used to hold down drum brake shoes on 1960's~1970's GM cars. The pins go through a slotted washed and you turn them.

It still would be nice to find some mini nylon Dzus type fasteners.

They shouldn't be hard to make for some manufacturer that produces nylon parts. Definitely post some wieght numbers and impressions when you get them.
