Big wing

Hi, yo'all, I'm looking to build a flying wing of 4metres +, I remember one that was out a few years ago called Vampir, i think it was by either Graupner or Multiplex, but thats the kind of thing im looking for. Horten wings are another intresting planform im looking at. Do any of you ( i'm sure you do ) have any designs or kits or websites you could reccomend. I live in the UK, so size is not a problem, not with models anyway ! ! Cheers in advance. Ray.

The biggest kit i know of is the Queen Bee from www.windrider.com.hk

It's "only" 100inches wingspan though. For 4 meters, you still need some more.

Isn't the Queen Bee a sloper? Although this is not as big, I've always thought that this was cool

Queen Bee is a sloper but Ming says it's easily converted to electric.

It might be worth looking at some of the german sites, big flying wings seem pretty popular over there from what ive seen - I think the Queen bee is the biggest of the EPP wings if thats what you are after.

I know this wing isn't 4 meters but I think it's the coolest looking wing I've ever seen. I think those are twin brushless motors on that thing.

When I die, if I go to heaven, I'll have a wing like this one.

Wings

I have built several pure flying wings over the last two years....each one seems to get bigger. Attached are pictures of my 154" flying wing. I am six foot tall, so that will give you an indication how large this wing is. I have a smaller (78" wing span), electric powered version of this wing that has been flying for about a year now. It uses two Speed 400 motors for power.

Master piece - no doubt!

Park flyer - no way!

If I was cool I'd have planes like that too!
