Balsarite (thumbs up or thumbs down?????)
I'm all most ready to cover my P-51 Mustang and I was thinking of putting a coat of Balsarite on first how well does this stuff work???? Is it worth the time to seal the wood????

Balsarite does a good job of keeping the covering from puling up and wrinkling. I use it or cheap spray adhesive. I put a light coat of cheap spray adhesive on the wood and let it nearly dry. It does about the same thing. with either one you have to use the iron to heat the glue on both the covering and the wood to get them to bond. You won't notice any difference when it is done but you will after it has sat for a while. It helps a lot with the wrincles and the sags (at least where it contacts the wood).
