I think that is the slope I flew last month when I was down there, just north of town I made a right off hwy 1 then a right on the frontage road then a left, drove up through the neighborhood until you get to the dirt road, go through the fence. (close it behind you) drive past the shot up vehicles to the top. sound right to you?

Still looking forward to flying mini weasels at Los Banos with you and sierra aardvark. One of my MW servos was bad (cirrus 5.4), I am awaiting a replacement. Soon as it comes in I can finish my plane, I'll send you and sierra aardvark a pm when finished. Hope we can set a date sometime in August. Perhaps we can post a weasel invitational. My 9 year old daughter has a hula hoop maybe I can dig up some gas pipe and a sledge and surveyors tape to make a limbo, and maybe mini combat. I am not exactly Fresno area but maybe you can add me to your list, I fly channel 21.

When Doug says "Fresno area", he's being pretty liberal...he's about 20 miles away and I'm 45 miles away....it's just that when someone asks where I'm from and I say North Fork, I usually get a blank stare until I say "it's NE of Fresno"

A weasel invitational to LB would be great, the more the merrier.....and definitely borrow your daughters hula hoop

Same place. The locals call it Hang Glider Hill. I met a paraglider pilot the second day on the hill. It was too windy for him to fly but just right for me.

I will make a map of the nearby spot soon. It just provides another option that isn't too far away.

I wasnt thinking to straight that day (it was a week day, then again I dont do so well on week ends either, Hummmm) I wanted it in clubs where the old one is, Heeellllpppppp.

Just got back from oregon, went visiting the kids for a few days, had a great time, there talking about moving back to calif. hope it by a slope somewhere.

It is easier to explain where we live, by calling it fresno area, I thought if anyone did a search, they would probably include fresno, we also added some other words at the beginning of thread to help out in a search. I will add yours, it was merced wasnt it. also have you got the servo yet. if not you could always borrow one for the day, Im sure I have spares.

What happened Kev? let me guess, a fire must have broke out somewhere. anyway winds were good, flew everything I brought, even ballasted up the weasel pro. no one showed, had the slopes all to my self, Time to get back to work on the M60.

Broke down in Los Banos on Friday, didn't have your cell number with me and didn't make it out to LB until really late....stayed the night and flew this morning. It was pretty cool

omg that sucks, next time call your wife and have her get it off rcgroups, or put it in your flight box or glove box 217-1774, we could have flown both days, what a great excuse, honey sorry but I broke down, Im going to have to stay here and fly for a couple days while the car gets fixed.
