I've mentioned these before in a couple of other threads, so now that we are taking orders, I thought I would just start a new one here. I'll also be posting the build here in this thread too. And I'll be glad to answer any questions.

24" Revolution 3D-Mini's!



They are a scaled down and modified version of the larger 34" Revolution 3D EPP Trainer. They were designed for use with CDROM converted motors. Now you can have a durable 3D plane to put that motor you worked so hard on into!

They are really fun to fly and will do every trick in the book! The small size make them easy to take to the field, or fly in your front yard. Their small size also makes them even more durable!

We will be selling them in DIY kits.



Basicly you get all the foam you will need, the hardware to complete the kit, tiled plans, paint stencils, and an instruction manual. The parts are very easy to cut out using a standard hobby knife.

shopping cart works fine tim, i just ordered mine! i have all the electronics already except for the battery pack. what battery do u recommend 340 kokam or 730 tp, or 600 pollyquest

Probably 600 poly quest. I've never used them, but I like my iRate 500's I just wish there was a little more juice. The 600 should be perfect. What is the discharge rate on those TP 730's?

tim, tp claims 10 to 12c for their 730's and 31 grams for a 2s pack. pollyquest 600's rate their cells at 10c and 28 grams for a 2s pack and their cells are much narrower at 22mm wide the tp 730's are 34mm wide.

Either should be good then. I'd still go with the 600's probably, to keep it light

The front end of the plane can handle a pack up to 1.5" wide.

i'm seeing that aircraft world is sold out of the pollyquest 600's but mike over at cbp has irate 600's that look to be the same size as the pollyquest. anybody know what size wire the pollyquest 600's come with?

i have a 21g CDrom motor, is this too heavy? creates about 300grams of thrust on a 2s lipos, and ive only got 3s lipos

is that 5-6oz total weight with or without the 600 pack batt? with or without the motor weight? And how much does your motor weight?

Are more detailed specs posted somewhere that I should know about?

Edible Engine: 21 gram motor is fine. I flew with a 23 gram motor today. My AUW with the 23 gram motor and 3 cell kokam 340 pack was 5.5oz and it flew great.

urdangcool: 5-6oz is the total flying weight. I can get 5oz with a 19gram motor and 2cell kokam 340 pack. I can get 5.5oz with a 23gram motor and 3 cell kokam 340 pack. So under 6oz should be easily reached with most cdrom motors and 2 cell, possibly 3 cell packs.

What more details would you like and I'll let you know!
