yeh , thats what I said , and it pitted the main blades , 86t 8t pinion too , he said, here ! let me show you, and I got on my 4 wheeler and left ,NOPE . he only did it once and I dont think he is going to do it again .
man I just made it back to my other home , we have to fly to work ,at this remote mine site . Out of 8 years of flying ,with no worries, 2 weeks on and 1 week off . today was one of the hairest of all , 207 c . coming in, it was bumpy , the guy next to me was saying %$#^&^ this and that and I was telling him its nothing , he had a death grip on the seat in front of him . I told him, just watch! it will smooth out, at about 20 feet above the 5000' dirt runway that the chartered 737 lands on a well. The plane did just as I said but! (thats a big BUT) we didnt know the left brake WAS STUCK! untill the stall landing ! The whole plane just got side ways , Wing almost touching the ground and 2 feet from the lights the left brake gave and he had full rudder to the right aready , WELL! sideways again to the right and wings 2 feet from the ground . I had a death grip on the seat infront of me through all that . through all that I think I heard SHI_!!! 4 times, 2 from the pilot and 2 from ME , I thought I only shook like that JUST flying helis . But I came out that plane glad it was over with . happy Im at work now

Robert --

You can run Tangos up to 30,000 and I can tell you, they really put out at that speed. I'm convinced that's why my L10 has so much power on a 10s2p-4200 setup and 600 blades. I'm using the 45-08 and the L14/20/24 138T/10T gearing, which puts h/s at about 2150, which is a bit too high but not so high that you can't dial it down a bit without anything getting hot (the motor runs 115-120 after 10 minutes of 3D'ing...). We have the governor set to lower it down to about 2070.
