Big BIG BIG prizes for the Dynamic Hobbies SMALL event
Holly Cow - Fred Zufelt of Dynamic Hobbies has donated a 6 channel radio for the Raffle this year at the "Dynamic Hobbies SMALL event in Ottawa on July 24th.

I'll leave the G 4500 powered BP 100 at home, but I'm looking forward to the trip out.
Ann Arbour, yours (that I've been meaning to make for years....), and NEAT will be my 3 travel trips this year.
I'd like to do the Skymasters float-fly in Michigan with the BP 100 (see below), but I don't have floats for it, and the also falls very close to the same date as NEAT.
I look forward to flying the Super Chipmunk, Sea Fury and V1 in front of glow fliers, though. The SC is nearly silent, but will will go straight up, the Sea Fury swings a 10 x 8 at 10000 rpm static, and the V1 is fast enough that a Goldberg Chipmunk with a .91 4 stroke could not catch it.
I'll have a GWS BF109 for sale, as well, if someone wants a fairly slow warbird.
Will you have your Tempest ready? I'll need a chaser for the V1.
My Mk V is cycling its batteries right now. I might try out the bomb drops in Ottawa. Glide bombing should be fun, provided I don't watch the bombs, as I continue to dive in at 45º.

Sorry to say Ron my Tempest is 1/2 built att. I've been putting a lot of my building time into one of my own designs. The plane is likely too be kitted in the near future. The plane is 100% scratch built with ton's of fabrications. The prototype and is nearing its maiden flight.
I would like to have it on display at the event even though its not a SMALL model. I alway appreciate input from other designers like your self.
The plane is 60" .46 powered scale model of the 1935 Pasped Skylark.

Are any other E-zoner's going to this event?
By the way, Ken, how long does it take to get from TO to Ottawa. I have hockey until 9:30 on Friday, and I'm trying to decide whether to leave after that, or go very early in the morning.

Takes time for sure!
It takes me approx 5 hours to reach Hamilton but I normally stop for a meal/gas on the 401 halfway. Mind you I drive slowly also doing 120 and everything passes me.
PS: yes lots of Ezone guys will be there - They are starting to outnumber us gas dudes! We get them normally from Kingston-Ottawa-Montreal!
2nd PS: We also give a nice prize for the Furthest Traveled! you could be a contender for that!

I had a really good time.
Again, sorry about not flying the Mk V. I found the source of the problem today. The clunk line was severed where it attaches to the output tube inside the tank cap. This is why it ran OK level (when this area was flooded), but would quit as soon as the tank was angled up. I'm glad that I did not get it airborne!!!!
I now have a temporary solution in place (new fuel lines throughout).
I suspect that my permanent solution may involve an AXI, some Li-poly's , and the permanent removal of the current power plant.
