Expert 6ch micro receiver questions

I purchased an Expert 6 ch micro receiver (FM) from a LHS, and was informed that this was a full range, dual conversion receiver. After experiencing unacceptable glitching in my zagi at a range of less than 900 feet (more like 700) I am wondering if this is true. My standard size Hitec rec. in the same spot had no problems.

I looked at Horizon Hobby's web site (distributor of Expert Rec's) and the description mentions it as a slowflyer and HLG rec. There are no specs there for the receiver.

Anybody have any info or experience?

Thanks
Jim
