Question
Anyone built a diamond wing plane?

I'm currently working on building my first SPAD, a SPA3D. I got to thinking about a possible future project. I've seen a design is a magazine about the future of aviation. The plane had what I would call a diamond wing. It has basically two wings, but they are joined at the tip. The front wing sweeps back, while the rear wing sweeps foreward. The tips are joined by a short vertical piece. Has anyone built something like this yet? If so, how well did it work out?

Thanks

Welp, I clicked the "new reply" button that's on the top and bottom of the page. After that, near the bottom of the page, it'll say something like manage attachments. A new window will open up, and there will be a "browse" button. Click that, then select the file you want to upload. After you've got them all, click the upload button. After the upload is finished, click the "close this window button." Finish your post, and voila!

Check the RCM plan manual. Bill Winter had a design called the Roamin Rhombus, or something like that. There've been a couple others over the years.

Thanks for the tip, 50. You got the name right. What I'm thinking of is quite similar, but will have more wing sweep and vertical seperation between each wing.

This is a nicer picture, but not quite what I'm thinking of. I'm planning on both wings having the same sweep angle, and a tractor configuration, otherwise, TLAR.
