There I was hoping the weather will be good for Friday night

I almost have the nitro bike ready for a run too. Fingers crossed the weather man gets it wrong.


Lars I have the same problem with my SB-5 rear hub. I think if I mill a tiny bit off it I can use my old thunder tiger rims too without them having an offset.

Well it doesn't matter if there's rain or no rain, I have to work this Friday night.

On the upside, we're finally getting the new house sorted and the RC workshop back in order.. I'm keen to get in some practice the following weekend tho.

If we miss out on Friday night and the rain stops by Sunday.
We could have a run at Landsborough.

We would be in that if we could get the numbers. There are some sharp hairpins on the right side at that track that are a challenge; and optional turns at the back straight, but the bikes could go straight pass those if the drivers choose to. We would be happy with either. Anyone else interested?

Is anyone interested in having a run at Landsborough this weekend.
If its raining they will be setting up a track in the hall.
I talked to one of the members, 3 or more and they will run a class for us.
Adrine if they run indoors you could run your 1/18 car too.

I spoke with Graham and racing starts at around 8:30
There happy to have us there even if it's just Chance and me
Adrine might be in so come on Rob, Shaun and Dave let do it

I'm not sure if Chance is keen with the only the two of you racing, but we'll definitely be in it if one more joins up for this. We are usually keen for new challenges, and indoors at the Function Center will offer a new one for sure. Chance is not home; so I cannot ask him now, but I'll find out what he wants when he gets home later today.

There are tables and chairs there, but I'll bring a 2 metre table in case they want us to use our own table if we're coming. Perhaps we could both use it to save space, but we could probably also set up ouside on the veranda if it gets a bit cramped in there.

I'm planning to order some bearings; does anyone else (local drivers) need any to share shipping cost?. All sizes including flanged, most bearings are $1.00 each and high quality motor bearings (steel/chrome with metal shields and ceramic balls) $5.00 each. Sometimes certain sizes might be out of stock.

The weather is looking good for racing this Friday night under lights at last.

Hi all,

I finally got around to getting some footage of my local track.
The track is at Kambah in the ACT, it is essentially converted netball courts.

The bike you can see in the footage is a stock SB5 Pro which one of the locals bought after seeing me get around the track.

It looks like we will have 3 bikes racing soon enough with some more interest out there.

The track is good in that various configurations can be used and you can jump the kerbs if your keen!
