Nice one! Bring it along the next time it looks like it might rain on a race night.

What are you using for propulsion for this beauty, and how fast would it go?

Kindest regards,
Lars.

The hull is 50" and will have a 26cc J&G petrol engine
Hopefully it will go about 60-70 MPH

Bruce, yeah Ive just been busy, its just that time of year when Im flat out and then the work drops off again,.. I guess that's show business..

Yep, Im keen as to get the bikes out again, and the 1/4 onroad NF.CSF411 project bike. Its coming along tho, I get to spend a few hours on it each day modifing something on it, I think by the time Im finished with it almost everything will have been modified on it..

I guess I'll post some progress pics so u's can see how its coming along..

First pic is before and upto where it is at the moment.. Im just waiting on some 4mm CF sheet to arrive to mod the side plates for the 4stroke engine to drop in. Ive cut the shaft on the engine too and made a pilot shaft adapter for the clutch bell and the fly wheel etc,.. so its ready to go in. The top frame was lightened, which you all know about and the crash back mech. Ive mounted the exhaust pipe aswell. I shortened the fork travel and Im now just waiting for Trent to get back from SA so I can get my Megatech 1/5 TC shocks for the rear, they're fully adjustable, (compresion/rebound). I shortened the rear tail/sub frame section plus I made some larger body work for it, Im kinda making it into a street fighter, bikini fairing style bike. Eventually I'll go the full lower fairing. Also I can turn it back into a motard again pretty easily too.

The only thing that lets this bike down as is, new in the box, is the quality of the Ali forks. The smallest of crashes and I bent one of the fork legs. I swear NF use construction grade Ali for most of their parts. Other than that its a nice bike.

I can't wait to hear it run and change gear down the back straight at Brendale.. Anyway,..the pics ..

Hey Shaun,
It's looking good, make sure you get some video footage when you get it going.
Will be great to hear it at full song!

Weathers great down here, haven't moved into our house yet so I don't have the bike to check out the RC tracks.

Catchas soon
Scott

Thanks guys..! Most of you know me well enough by now, Im never satisfied with "as is" and I have to change it.. I guess that's why I like this bike hobby so much, it allows me to be creative..

Stelios,.. Thanks!.. Ha, it all started back in 2003 turning the old Fm1e nitro and making parts by hand or on the drill press. Even easier now with a mill/lathe.. Hey, I was thinking of you the other night at work. I was explaining to the guys at work how to make Greek coffee. We're coming into summer here now so its a nice cool way to have coffee..

Here's a couple more pics showing how I mounted the pipe to the tail and the rear brake calliper I started making for it.. No doubt I'll change the design and make another one. Im going to use the old NF SF501 front disc with it, I'll maybe go bigger if it does'nt pull the bike up fast enough..., we'll see.

Cheers..
