We've just bought a house and its taking more time than we have to organise everything in these early stages. We arent moving in until Janurary but its all systems go at the moment.

BTW, its not the one in Gilston down the road from the track its up at Oxenford near wet and wild theme park (my new local swimming hole ).

Never been to the Logan track either, i'd be really keen to have a run there another time.
I'll be missing the 18th too so I hope we can get together for a practice day in between then and the next race.

Have fun!
Well,.. we'll miss you today Troy.. New house comitments are way more important too.., I guess.. Congrats on getting one too.. Hey,.. if your that close you could dine out at the OutBack Spectacular every night..

Thanks Ben and Shaun,

...but should I go extra soft, soft or medium? too many choice!

what are you guys running? (same compound front and rear?)

Any help would be great and help me get to the track sooner

BTW - I heard that bikes on Sunday at Gilston has been postponed because of the Interclub Challenge/Gold Coast Challenge that was rained out last Sunday being re-run this Sunday.

Up front I would go for soft (GRPB02B) and a Soft(GRP-GRPB22B) on the rear, it takes a bit of a hiding so I prefer a harder rear tyre.

Just my $.02, others may have differant ideas.

Yeah,.. it all depends on how much you wheel spin out of the corners, eah Ben..?!

In my opinion, I would go, eXsoft front/soft rear.. Loads of front end grip, and the front tire will last out the rears by about 3-1.. So a front tire should last you the whole session, even longer depending on how hard you drive.. Like Ben said, a harder rear tire will take more abuse and much better for the hot summer months etc..

Well, that just sux the big one,.. I hate the thought of having to wait another week till we race again.. I know with the bikes we would'nt have the problem of being rained out.. Just waterproof everything and keep racing..

Great to have you with us Dave,.. I knew you'd get into the bikes sooner or later.. Is your daughter still racing TC's..?

My thoughts exactly Shaun,

And to top it off, Our next meet will be held on the 25th with the next nitro meet and also the annual general meeting too...

Sounds like another full day of waiting...Now that SUX!

So does anyone know for sure whats happening this weekend, I read it was being re-run this weekend on rc tech, can the bikes still run?? Having said that if we can run and it's going to be a full day I might be in trouble, my wife flys out OS for a few weeks the following Tuesday and me spending all day at the track's not an option

Cheers

Hey, thats good news for me, i'm in for the 25th!. I just got a call from Chris and he let me know it was all going on as Lenny said above.

I know the long days arent the best option but its probably better than waiting another month.

Looking forward to racing, I expected it to be another month so now i'll have to pull my finger out and get some maintenance done.

Havago, I considere$d buying that FM1e too, you got a good deal there, nice work Hope you get the tyres in time for the race, if not, i've got some (slightly worn on the edges, soft GRP) tyres on wheels you can use for the day if you're keen.
