I wouldnt want to answer on behalf of Patrick, but I'm quite sure the servos are not "bang-bang". You just connect the motor in place of the actuator and get the same proportional movement. You center them just like all actuators, just use a rubber bands like Patrick has used to center back, the 4mm motors move very freely and even light rubber "springs" should work.

it is selitac 2 mm foam from a danish people in germany!!
just one hinge on rudder glued with ca,and 2 on the elevator(glued to have neutral position) the motor torque is equal rubber one at about 30 ° angle. a bit less torque than strong actuators but no problems in flight. motor axle glued in a hard balsa piece. patrick. |
