New German F5D silver bullet not top secret
For all who are interested in the new German F5D model 'Nyamuk':

Nyamuk was used for the first time in a cometition in Perg/Austria (25./27. 6.) RCGroups thread .
In 2005 we will have new F5D rules. The most important changes will be the reduction of the wing load from 75 down to 65 g/dm≤ as well as the minimum weight of 1000g. That means: current planes are too small to be compliant with the new rules. That's why AkaModell Munich is developing a new Model named AM9 "Bathled".
To test some new solutions upfront, we built the AM8 "Nyamuk". It already has the new wing as intended for the AM9, but scaled for a 75 g/dm≤ wing loading and new appropriate empennage. Only the middle-part of the fuselage is from the Tokoloshi......
While the "old" Tokoloshi wing just has a CFK D-Box, the new wing's outer layer is completely built in CFK to make the wing stiffer and harder. In addition a new core material for the sandwich is used. Despite the new wing is bigger and much firmer, the weight is only between 100 and 105 g, (Tokoloschi 85 Ė 90 g).

I can not say if itís the same core material as in the P5, because I don't know what's in the P5. There are so many different core materials with the same colour and look. More important than what kind of core material you use is the question can you buy it in the desired thickness and amount.
I am not sure what you mean with sensitive. The hor. stabilizer is designed to fulfil the static and dynamic stability. There are so many parameters that have much greater inpact on flight mechanics than the aspect ratio. It is more a structural and aerodynamic issue.
Nyamuk flies very convenient and my subjective impression is that it flies a bit calmer than the Tokoloschi. Maybe it's only that I caught a better Servo. And I haven't yet flown it in very windy conditions. And how it reacts of control input depends on dual rate and expo. There are so many tiny factors that have a huge influence on the overall performance on a F5D.

Given that the total area is 11.323dm^2 and guessing that the tail accounts for 10 percent of that, the wing area is then approximately 10.191dm^2. The wing span is given at 1080mm, or 10.8dm. So span squared = 116.64/10.191= 11.4
You are correct. It is lower.
