Anyone fly a Herr parkflier kit?

I saw the Herr Parkflyer version of the Cub fly at DEAF 2001 and it was a very nice flyer. No radical aerobatics but it handled the wind quite well for routine flying.

I have a Herr Parkflyer Cub and I love everything about it. The kit was terrific. The plane is well designed, as are all Thomas Herr designs. The plane flys great - it was everything I hoped it would be.
If you decide to get any Herr design, go to the Herr web site. http://www.iflyherr.com/ Todd's Models also carry the Herr "Breezy Day" parkflyers. www.toddsmodels.com The Sig site, who now own Herr Engineering, is $13.00 more than the 2 sites above. Another Sig "innovation". |
