the rouned edges on the fuselage are sanded and the rounded edges on the stabs are burnisned with a rod or tube. The wing leading edge is folded.

Great job on the copy. I hope you have a motor that will spin that prop at 26K plus. I still can't believe how FAST the Insulator is. I may have to build one, TOO!

Bill- Good eye, the screws are missing. I've been doing that for the last two years! Haven't had one pop off yet, saves a little weight(I think) I'm really not that concerned about it in a plane that costs me about $1. I guess I should be concerned about the $25 lipos in the nose when it comes crashing down, though. I'll worry about that when it happens, which is inevitable.

Bill- Is that motor pushing 10oz on 2 cells or 3? How did you configure that thing? Delta/wye, turns, wire? Sounds like a mach 2 flyer.

I'm using a 3 cell 700ma pack and a 5x4.3 prop. The motor is delta. At full throttle it pulls about 5.2 amps. The ESC (CC10) gets hot for some reason.

Last night, I was sitting on the floor and ran the motor up.....it made the ceiling fan blades begin to turn.

Well it flew farther than a "Lawn Dart" but the results were the same

. I gluded it back together, moved the battery foward 3/4", reduced the throws and it flew like a champ or should I say a Bat Out Of H*LL!

At full throttle it blew the hatch. I brought it down and re-taped it. Gave it a toss and it sank out of site in a drainage ditch so I gunned it and gave it some up and it shot up back into site...wheew it's fast for a foamy. I was most comfortable at half throttle which was still reasonably fast.

It's ugly now but at least it flys and is quite stable.
