Question
P-47 How big can I get it?

I'm currently flying the Top Flite giant P-47 (my 2nd). Here are some pics:

I'm looking for plans for an even bigger (all wood) Thunderbolt. The biggest I can find is 102 inches (Meister plans). Any suggestions?

Copy shops can usually enlarge plans to any size you need. There is a guy in Minn. that built a 13'ws corsair, and flew it sucessfully. Your link didn't work for me.

Believe that was what he was going for. Good looking plane!

I also have a Meister P-47, It is still sitting in my garage just waiting for me to put it together. Ahhh, maybe someday. I think this will be plenty big for me.

Manny and his plane.

Just so everyone who reads this will know, Manny is not from here. He is as good a guy as you would ever want to meet, and english is his second language. He can fly the hell out of his P47, while everyone else claims that "it's too windy to fly my warbird". And he doesn't have to speak or write english well to impress you with it. Does this mean that you might have another Jug in the works Manny?

meister jug

Almost finnished with my meister P-47. Scratched it ALL. Done up as a razorback in the Bonnie scheme. (my grannys name) Full cockpit with an ultimate soldier full bodied pilot. Stolts 4.4 husky for power. 2 &1/2 years in the making. Hope to fly it this fall. Come see it at the Memphis Belle Classic. Dale
