Myself and three of my flying buddies will be there on Saturday with a van full of planes to fly. Weather looks good at this point, hope to see everyone there!!

A bunch of us will be there from central Jersey. I just tested my HiMax powered Clancy Baby Bee today to bring with me. I'll also have a GWS Zero with an MPJet motor and a Wattage Pitts Special and a Wattage Ultimate both powered by a Mega 16/15-6. All use LiPos. See you there, Gary

It was raining in Easton today. It let up at times and people did fly. I'll check the weather in the morning and then decide whether to go again Sunday. Gary

The rain here in the DC area was pretty heavy all day (still is drizzling a bit as I type this) so myself and my buddies did not make the trip. We were planning on going Sunday but we will not be making it. Couldn't rearrange enough to allow us to make it up. Sorry we are missing Lehigh this year but we will be there next year. Hope the weather cooperates on SUnday, the way this storm is moving I wouldn't be surprised if it was still raing in Allentown tomorrow! What a spring, either rain or high winds.

I just could not see driving 3 hrs to fly in the "rain" and cold. It's pretty awful here on Long island.... raw, rain most of the day. well... next stop is Mid-America for me. I can't make SEFF, I have a wedding that weekend to go to in NH. Later Tom |

Tom,
We had much nicer weather today. No sun, but the clouds were high and there was quite a decent ceiling. The temperature was comfy in the low 60's, and NO WIND! I got some really nice flights in. Total of 37 pilots showed up and looks like we all had a good time. I got some photos of the flightline from about 200' up - I'll post them soon. Andy |
