Where have all the Piccolo Pilots gone?

Wow, it seems like there are so few posts concerning the Piccolo FP (ECO/Fun/Franken) Is this due to the increasing popularity of the "other" FP helis? Or have they nothing to work out anymore due to the age of the airframe? I'm not trying to stir up any bad stuff here, but it gets lonely when you read all these Hummingbird/Dragonfly/Aerohawk posts...

Yep I think the cheap clones have put the old Pic out of the lime light. Seems the Zoom/Shogun has done the same to the Hornet. I notice there is only one post for each of the originals on the first page right now.

I think that there was a flood of the Pic Pilots while the Ikarus board was down. There is the normal level of activity there now.

lol, yep this was the situation!

I think that since the pic has not changed much since it came out it really doesn't have much of an advantage over any of the other models now. I'm a pic flyer, but I'm grounded at the moment, which is why I'm on here instead of flying outside in the sunshine

Bound to be fairly quiet when the Two helis have there own forums

Life still goes on in the Ikarus forum as it does in the hornet-heli forums

the Zooms new, bound to be loads of posts on it.

Yeah, I should be more active over at Ikarus. I've always been som comfy here because everyone is real nice and I fly lots of other E-stuff and powerless stuff that it's one stop shopping. It was just a little strange to remember seeing lots of Piccolo posts and then all of a sudden I noticed they were gone. My Dad flies a Hornet 2 and we kinda noticed the same thing for that after I posted this and everyone said it. I guess it's the march of progress...

Piccolo Pilots are not, however, forgotten and if they still like the Piccolo they have lots of options to spiff it up. Helihobby has most of them, this is the latest one (pic below), all you need is the believe in the product and not be afraid to upgrade it. In some cases an upgraded original product can be many times better than a new one without any upgrades.
