[RCSE] "I'm in Seattle and You're not!"

Got to Russ Young house late and we went directly to the field for a few bungee flights for landings before sundown. Got two in and hit one, so can't complain tomorrow. :-)

Fingers are crossed on weather, supposed to be nice but you never know.

In case you guys don't know Russ, he ain't chopped meat...winner of the most prestigious TD contest in world, Visalia Fall Festival 1999...with a Popescu Pelican. Whooped a bunch of moldies that year. Pelicans are still awesome TD ships, just nearly impossible to come by.

Russ is flying a GENIE LT/S he built over the winter. This was his first
scratch built ship and his first bagged wing. His 2nd one, much lighter, is
about finished and we have talked about some little refinements for his 3rd
one.

There is a pic of Russ with his first one, trimmed up in black and white, at
http://monkeytumble.com. Click on the GENIE square. Get into the Gallery
file and page down.
