Folding Depron == getting started on Avro Arrow pusher
I've picked up some sheets of 3mm Depron (Pinnacle Hobbies has a small pile of 3 and 5mm sheets less than $9Cdn for a 2x3-foot sheet).
The main fuselage section of the Arrow (this is a stand-waaaaay-off scale to get my feet wet) is essentially a 1-unit-high by 2-units-wide box. I thought that the easiest starting point was to make this section as a box.
I can create fuselage bulkheads with a one-quarter-inch radius camfer.
So, starting questions are:
1) What spacing should I aim for with bulkheads, follow the balsa tradiotion of approximately every six inches or so except where the wings join the fuselage?
2) What's the basic procedure for folding Depon? I've heard that you can heat Depron to permanents set a curve? What's the procedure for this?
