After a good 10 minute flight with my SKY RAIDER MACH-1, here comes Earl for a very close landing and according to him, he didn't have enough rudder...

Both models are just fine after Earl's Herr Engineering PT-17 STEARMAN landing on the SKY RAIDER MACH-I Wing!

We had to duplicate the way it landed because Earl took his model away since he saw my face in disbelief....

Earl even appologized to me ....

Earl, no need to appologize, it could happen to anyone the cross winds were pretty nasty. Buddy, you can land on that wing anytime

After work, I arrived at an employee's pinic area very close to our KARS Flying Club field at the Space Center and there I noticed very windy conditions. So, instead of going to the flying field, I stayed at this pinic area and fixed my FORMOSA since it had a lose hardwood motor mount (foam had been stressed).

Wow, it was a wonderful place to repair any model since you had this larger pavillion to yourself and spread all your tools and easily repair any model in no time. Besides, it was very HOT out there in the sun not to mention very windy conditions.

I then, stopped by WAL-MART in Titusville, Florida and finally found those "PARTY LIGHTS" that RICHARD been raving about. However, the end cap are larger with design of stars and the lights are further apart which may help in overall visibility. They were at the "GIRLS" department and they were $2.35 and $2.68 apiece depending on the design. They are LEDs that continually alertnate in color from RED, GREEN and BLUE. RICHARD seems like got them in a clearance for $0.67 cents apiece.

Went to HOME DEPOT and finally the winds seemed to have died down so, I parked and proceeded to TOP OFF batteries for the large SKY RAIDER MACH-I. Flew her twice with a flight of my FORMOSA inbetween and WOW FORMOSA flew just wonderful and strong with lots of power at no more than half throttle and in windy conditions.

It was great day at the field!
