High KV or Low KV
I intended to purchase a 2015 series Himaxx and gear it down, to be used for APC 7 x 5 at arround 13000 rpm, at 3 cell Li-ion. assuming 10V underload, which to achieve 8 amp max output current.
2015-2700, using 2:1 gear ratio down to 13500 rpm.
2015-5400, using 4.4:1 gear ratio around 12300 rpm.
Which set up is better in term of efficiency? (longer flight time/less current draw) or if the set up is no good.
Please give advice.

What Andy said. The higher Kv motor has lower internal resistance. Until you're up at a voltage where max RPM is an issue, it's usually better to go with the higher Kv motor geared deeper.
