Yippee!
'Jet' aircraft...from 1910 !!!

Found this interesting web site while looking for info on the Bristol Scout

Some good pictures of Bristol aircaft but if you scroll right down the page you'll come across the Coanda 'Jet' powered aircraft of 1910 which, according to the text, actually made a short hop. There's also a 3-view drawing of the beast... go on, someone - I dare you! lol

Steve, You'll also find colour drawings of the Coanda biplane in the book of Pioneer Aircraft by Phillip Munson.
