My very short G-Ride build thread

I like to look through build threads - this is my first one - enjoy.

Hmmm, cant seem to figure this out. Maybe I will be able to post images later.

I got it - if you put more than one pic in a message, it diesnt show as a picture... I think.

All covered. I used Solite - this was my first covering job. Lots of bubbles.

(my last name is Szarzynski BTW - that should clue in the theme if nobody gets it)

That's where I am now. I have never installed pull-pull systems, so I need to figure that one out. The instructions pretty much end after framing it up. I have looked at the Mountain Models online instructions and I think they will help.

I'll be flying this one stock (GWS 350C). I have some 7 and 8 cell nimh packs and I finally got some Lipo's - two 2S1P's that I might put in here. I need something new fast because I am literally flying the wings of my formosa.

Cheers.

Jonathan

Thanks.

I dont have a scale yet so I dont know it's weight. Its on the list...

The pull pull has me wondering a little bit - I'll post pics of what I am doing. I would suggest to include it in the kits instruction manual.

I finished her this weekend. The pull pull seemed to work out pretty well. Im not too sure if I like the pull pull more than the push pull... we'll see how she flies.

Here is a shot of the Rudder setup:

Ready for the maiden.

Stock 350C GWS motor/GB w/ 3x 9070 prop.
8 & 7 cell KAN 1050 and a couple 2S1P packs for power.

Set up just like my formosa, and she feels lighter, so I expect good things.
