Has anyone flown the Great Planes electric DC3 yet?

Can anyone share any experiences flying the new DC3 from Great Planes. I have one completed and ready to fly (waiting for good weather). I'd like to know what to expect.

Outstanding. Glad to see the creative airline schemes starting to come about on this one. I was able to handle one the other day and all I can say is that if I didn't already have too many scratch built multi engine models I'd have had two of these by now.

Easy. Not for a beginner, but if you've built a few kits, this is easy.

I checked other threads, and it seems that this will be a good flyer as well.

Beautiful Job Michael!

In your opinion do you think a couple of AXI drum motors would fit in the cowling?

Thank You,

Yes, I think smaller ones would fit.

I'm sticking with the unknown type of speed 400's, although I've decided to use a 10 cell nimh pack. I may fly the plane this weekend.
