Post your AP videos here

Either video "slide shows" set to music, or actual aerial movie footage, whatever you've got!

If we get enough action here, we'll put them to the test in a contest.

Post away!

Edthedoc's Aerial Combat video

Here's a short but hi-res (20 mb) avi video of a recent Zagi aerial combat weekend. The video includes lots of air-to-air shots, an attempt to cut the hair of a rival and a mid-air collision.

Nikon Cookpix 3700 running at 640x480 30fps in an Irvine X-ite, nothing exceptional about power/radio kit.

I posted this almost three months ago by now but I guess I'll post it again! It's a 10 minute video of and from a Slow Stick and Zagi 400X.

Remote Flight (53.7 mb)

Remote Flight (23.7 mb)

update: I've received so many positive comments and questions about this video. Thank you guys. The music is I Can Only Imagine by Mercy Me and all video and pictures are taken by a mere Pencam SD. I hope you enjoy!

Derrick:

I enjoyed your very creative movie mixed with still shots. The music really makes the whole montage come together. Very well done. Thank you.

Great idea for a thread Steve.

edthedoc - thanks much for the video. It's now in my collection.

Derick - yours was already in my collection. That's one of my daughter's favorite songs by the way so she really likes to watch it.

Here's my contribution - a little on the wild side for me as up until this I was pretty much a slow flyer. This is on board a 26" Mini Zagnutz - enjoy!

Wow, what timing. I was just coming over to post a link to a video I finished compiling this evening and found this thread.

Here it is! It's 31mb in wmv format. Happy downloading I didn't want to make it any smaller as quality goes way down.

Ok I have some realy cool footage from my TM400 but it's all on an analog camcorder. I don't have any of the software now to convert it to digital format but next week I will be getting a miniDV so I'll post that footage then.

In the meantime I did get about 2 minutes from my aiptek on the trusty old SS. It's fairly low altitude because my batteries were winding down but it goes from lift off to touch down and hey I like it! Enjoy!

Here's a short one I shot from a 21 foot electric RC glider called a Nimbus:

And this was shot from a Soarstar with Homer Simpson at the controls

Right Click and Download HomerCam

They've both been posted before, but since you started the thread...

I clipped together some aerial video taken with an Aiptek SD 1.3 meg camera. I want to fly more and take some better video during the day, hopefully with a Predator B from www.littlebirdz.com

here's a link to the video: (lemme know if it wants a password, having some trouble with my server)
http://art1.mae.ncsu.edu/vids/pres_v...rial_video.mpg

and a link to a clipped still camera flight with ground video:

Enjoy!
Dan
