Fairchild F22 kit
I am looking for a Fairchild 22 , 1/4 scale kit, wingspan would be 98 inches.
It was manufactured in the 1980's. by Orline Kits manufacturing
Please PM me if anyone has one they wish to part with.
Would also consider a good set of plans for a "scratchbuild"

I used to have an Orline F22 kit but it was destroyed in a garage fire at a friends home where I stored some stuff until I finished moving.
I originally paid $89.95 brand new for it from Orline
I found a guy who will cut me a laser cut kit complete for $125.00
This includes all the landing gear and cabane hardware.
$250.00 is a lot of money for balsa that is almost 30 years old and may have to have a lot of it replaced which is something I have run into on older kits.
Example. I have an original NIB Carl Goldberg Sailplane ( 1940's) that includes an authentic letter typed by Carl Goldberg on his business stationery( Top Flite) and hand signed by him to the original owner of the kit. I keep it as a collectors item. It also includes original decals in decent shape.
I have been offered $700.00 for it.
I considered donating it to the AMA Museum in Muncie Indiana, and write it off my taxes, but the AMA is not interested in it.
I also have an original ( but restored )1939 Squalus, 108 inch span that is still very airworthy
The fuselage is made from about 95% cherry wood
Built in 1939 and once made an OOS flight of about 200 plus miles and landed in a soybean field with no damage and was recovered complete
Launch point was Smith Field airport, Ft Wayne Indiana, it landed in a bean filed just outside Brazil Indiana.
AMA was not interested in it either.
It is still totally airworthy 75 years later!
Somewhere here on RC Groups is an archived picture of it and the letter from Carl Goldberg.
A brand new laser cut Fairchild 22 would be all new balsa and other woods plus laser cut.
If i can just find a set of Orline plans or IkonNwst plans.
