The one thing that is usually the dead giveaway on a scale RC vehicle that keeps it from looking like the real deal is the hardware used to build it. Locked Up RC has got the solution with scale-looking hardware. This time around they are offering M2 Acorn Nuts, which are perfect for scale wheels. The idea is to use them to mimic the lug nuts used on full-size wheels. They simply thread on to M2 screws. Locke Up RC offers the Acorn Nuts in packs of 32.
|Width across flats||3mm|
|Tool required||3mm hex socket driver|
Note: Keep in mind that you need to have 1.5-2.5mm of thread on your exposed M2 hardware poking through the face of your wheel. If the bolts on your wheels are to long you can pick up a pack of Locked Up RCís M2 x 8mm screws (item no. 1211-M2x8b).
