Man, that's a clean set-up. I don't appreciate the flimsy vacu-formed nacelles that came with the Flair kit. One good thing is that the nose can be removed for battery access, held with magnets and dowels.

I like that removeable nose. I found the batt needed to be pretty far forward to achieve balance. May use that for the next one. Thanks for sharing.

Here is a poor video of Dad's first flight with the BF-110 after paint - taken with a cheap pen cam. I'll post a better video later. Paint didn't seem to hurt it

Luckily we have those wonderful trees in the pit area Here's a picture with the spinners. I just couldn't stand not having them so I bought him a pair. Not to scale but better than nothing He told me this is the nicest plane he has ever owned so I guess he's happy (and he's been flying for 60 odd years!) Sure is easy to change out the battery and it's real stable in the air, flies on rails.

You can always tell the Sepulveda Basin by the background noise; jets, helis, electrics and slimers all in the air together

Latest Flight

Here is a recent flight Ed made with a Multipod camera mounted on the tail. Vintage effects and sound added for fun

Very neat......I like it.
One thing that slightly hurts, the very thin wheels!........would not add enough drag to worry about.?

Thanks.
