Yippee!
Actually flew today....

I actually got in 3 flights on my Razor (wanted to check out the fix job I did on the elevons) and 2 flights on my Alienator (wanted to test a couple of batt packs I got from an ezoner here). Not much in the way of wind here all day...morning there was snow and this afternoon, bright sunshine. Can't wait until we set the clocks ahead!!!

We were flying out on Long Island NY until the afternoon and then the front arrived and so did the wind.

I went out flying AFTER the cold and wind hit, and got the videos to prove it. We were flight testing a new motor from brushless-motor.com that we plan to pick up later this month.

Here are 3 vids to grab:

That field looks a lot like the field at Stiwell woods Long Island.

No, it's NJJF's in Belvidere, NJ.

It's a mowed, rolled strip in the middle of a couple hundred acres of hay.

Flew again today at the school field. My frien John and I had the following: Superfly, LazyBee ARF (Mega 16/15/8), Miss2, FMA Razor (020AF),Zagi 400 (Mega 3T),Slow Stick(PJS1000) .
Wind started picking up as soon as I unloaded, The Superfly went up first and flew great after I got expo dialed in. Then the LB went up, It did ok, but was kind of white knuckle as the wind was starting to blow 12-15+ mph. The SS did fine with the PJS. The flying session was finished with the Razor and Zagi. With rain threatening on the horizon, we packed it in. Of course the week is going to be great because I have to leave...

Got to fly this morning before the wind started. It was 28 degrees out. I flew a few packs in the Wally Wing and called it quits. Of course, this leads me to another idea....a twin 400 speed wally wing! Already got the wings halves together via 5 minute epoxy. Its funny in that one wing half is thicker than the other one. I am gonna cover the wing in ekonocote and will add wing spars. Am gonna make some sort of wing pod.
Also repaired my ME 163 Komet from the last crash. All I did with it was re-adjust the thrust line and actually hot melted it in. Will test fly it next weekend weather permitting.
Glad some of you guys got to do a little "transmitting" with your aircraft. Its been a bad winter!

John, as soon as daylight savings time gets here, then I at least have about an hour of flight time every night. Can't wait for the summer too. I have a Raven Sailplane I got together last fall and haven't really flown it when it was warm or calm. I have a 550 geared motor on it.
