Boeing P-26 Peashooter
After four years, finally opened the kit and completed this
plane. It is an ARF glow kit which converted rather well to electric. Wingspan is 71 inches, Wing area is 736 sq.in., weight with batteries is 120 ounces. The Peashooter was converted with the following: Astro 40 with 1.63G Astro 204D Speed Control APC-E 14 X 10 and 13 X 10 props 20 cell Sanyo FAUP 1950 Nimh Pack Hitec MG225 Servos This should roughly produce 93 watts per lb., 34.9 amps, 83 oz. of thrust, 8 minutes of flying time, according to ECALC 2. Looking forward to Spring so this plane can fly. LNL |

Here is another view -- plane's fuselage is very wide, easily
accomodates large battery packs. |

Here's Jeff Myers Peashooter at the Melbourne, Florida electric event held last December. This should wet your appetite.

how about some info on the plane (man., dist., ect) I've got a AF40 lay'n round that should be in something, preferbly ARF. For awhile I've been contemplating a P-26 also, popular choice of late it seems. Keep us informed how it goes. Billy |
