New project

Hey all, here's a pic of my latest experiment.Maybe it'll fly, maybe it won't. It's sort of an odd plane, thought I'd see if y'all could guess what it is.

BD-5. I built one from scratch for a speed 400, really flew great! Looks good, can't wait to see it finished.

Guess it was'nt that odd.Thats encouraging to hear yours flew well. What were the specs on yours? Did you stretch the fuse or increase the wing area?

One picture is worth a thousand words so here's a link to the BD I did. Just click
on stills or the BD itself to see a flight video.

Your smart putting the engine in the actual position, you'll have no CG problems.
The construction looks fantastic. You should make plans that include the aeroshaft
set up. I know I wouldn't mind having a little GWS BD-5. Good idea DBlum! Keep
us posted on your progress.

Thanks for the kind words guys. The canopy is pulled because I'm too lazy to build a vacu-former.Besides,who has time to build something that does'nt fly when you get done with it anyway?

Add me to the list of people who would love a set of plans. Please consider it. Great job. Give us some more picture and a flight report.

hate to burst your bubbly, but how are you going to get the motor out if you have to replace it?
