Midi Pilatus - Flying Bulls ARF

A very unique ARF

Splash

The famous Turbo Porter in Red Bull livery

Robbe's Midi Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter is an ARF scaled out in the Flying Bulls color scheme by Red Bull. This PC-6 features functional strut landing gear, wood built-up construction, Oracover film, and installed wires for lighting systems. We like the scale-looking landing gear and included 4-blade spinner that's ready for a 9x6 4-blade prop. Overall, this is a very unique ARF that's sure to attract some attention at the flying field. The only thing missing are flaps for true scale short-field takeoffs and approaches.

The recommended motor is a 3535-920 and battery is a 3s 2200mAh.

If you search the site they have a bigger 2200mm version for 6cell batts. Comes with flaps. That's the one I'd be interested in.

Yeah, that's a nice model! I think if you look close though you'll see she has one leg longer than the other? Somethings a little off, might be the knees... or my eyes.

Not crazy about the graphics, but I like the plane too! and the 2.3 metre version even more!

The Larger One is Interesting

I would be very interested in building the larger scale Red Bull as seen on the site.. Here is the link to the manual in English:Anleitung englisch (PDF, 3689 KB)

If the link does not work you can find it at the bottom of the page on the website once you select the 2200 mm version.

What manufacturer of 9X6 4 blade prop is recommended...as the prop in the picture doesn't look familiar.

Robbe and Graupner both make some really cool models. Too bad we can't get them in the states!
