The IMA Twin Otter - Give me your opinion!!
I "found" this model a few days ago, and really got exited I simply love the Twin Otter having flown with them in maybe the toughest environments in the world; the Norwegian coast and in the Himalayas!
The IMA kit looks very promising; all foam - should be an easy build.
After some digging I have found these specs:
Wingspan: 165cm / 64”
Fuselage overall length: 133 cm / 52,3”
Wing area: 36,5 dm^2
Motors: 2xSpeed 480
Battery: 8 cells 17-3000 mAh
Target AUW: 1900gr / 67 oz
Controls: Elevator/aileron/throttle and optional rudder
Is there anyody here on the forums that knows anything about this bird. I don’t want to spend over 100+ Euros on something that is not as good as it looks!!
Let me have your opinions!!
The link to the kit is here

No opinion yet
I have just purchased this bird (and not just this model, but this actual one of the pictures, which was the original one of Willem, the designer/builder)
I will put in 2x 2217/06 1500Kv with 3-blade 8x4 or 7x4 and it will get this color scheme
