Mini HDMI to AV Converter

Small, Light, Convienent

Splash

The smallest HDMI to AV converter we've seen!

For those wanting more duration from their flights, weight is everything. Every gram counts and you are always looking for ways to reduce the weight of your components. HDMI converters are a necessary component for digital cameras that do not output an analog video signal. Our video transmitters need an analog signal to send over the air to the receiver. The converter takes the digital signal from the camera and converts it to analog. Until now most converters have been big, bulky, and heavy.

Copter Frames is offering this super compact mini HDMI converter. It only weighs 3.6g and is only 3mm thick and 50mm long by 15mm wide. It plugs right into the camera and has audio, video, and ground pinouts. It should work with just about any camera that uses a mini hdmi type C interface. [Copter Frames]

Some confusion there. Type D is micro HDMI ... Sony RX100M2 for example. This board is for mini HDMI, type C (NEX series etc.).

No worries. I actually have a Sony RX100M2 and am painfully aware that nobody seems to do AV converters with a type D (micro) plug

It draws 5V from HDMI plug, no need for external power.
However, because people asked I did a hack to power this board from external source. Check my attachments for detailed images.

If it is a PAL version yes.
The OP forgot to specify this board outputs PAL only, a small detail that many find after buy and don't like.

i'm using a 3d printed rx100 mount that i designed to relocate the tripod hole and allow a hdmi cable to be plugged in.

I just ordered a mini to micro adapter and one of those soft(flexible) hdmi cables.
