Lithium Battery Concern.
I read about the dangers of Lithium Battery fires and how to contain them but I am wondering if the smoke and the residue afterward is toxic? Cancer causing? Benign? Does anyone know?

not sure but I do know that the cadmium in nicds is poisonous to humans. My point is that there is a hazzard in almost any material you handle so be carefull. With the lithiums I would be more concerned about getting burned or dying in a fire than raising my cancer risk 15 years from now by breathing in the smoke. Handle those cells properly and we wont have to worry about either .
