Carlos's aileron Super Cubby!!...

Here's some photos of Carlos's Super Cub...taken this morning at Moonport...

Once Carlos got the hang of it...he had the Cubby flying steep turns, inverted passes, rolls, cuban eights...well you name it... Good flying skybro...you'll probably never go back to the old wing again...!!

Bobby's helis...

Bobby put on quite a show. First with his ALL STOCK E-Flite 400 CP heli. Flown as it comes out of the box...that heli sure is a performer.

Later he put his TREX 600 Glow heli thru it's paces...great day for him!!

Carter's F-16

Carter's F-16 is the one sold at Hobby People. This F-16 comes with the Brushless Motor, the ducted fan and the ESC for a cool $139 or thereabouts!!

This plane is a great performer with a 3S1P 2100 pack. I think this would be the one for me to get if I decide to test the waters of Ducted Fans!!...

Gerry!!!

You are a PAL!!!!

Not only did you help me with cutting those ailerons but, you inspired me to finish the model last night and I did a ALL NIGHTER, I do not recall how I came back home from Moon Port Modelers RC CLub!!! All I remember was being scared when the Space Shuttle hit the sonic threshold and those two Booms came in right around 11:22am and I thought someone was trying to get out from my Car Trunk!!!!

Thanks for those great pictures!!!!!

Have a wonderful Father's Day!

Hey Carlos,

Either your clocks are off or you are living in a time warp. Wheel stop was at 15:16:19Z or 11:16:19 local, the sonic booms were at about 15:11:48Z.

Flew early today at Moon Port Modelers RC Club and what a wonderful morning it was .... nice and cool (relatively speaking of course).

Flew my #2 Super Cub with Brushless Inrunner (AON T2815-3002), Slow Stick-X, GWS Pico Tiger Moth with Brushless Himax Outrunner, ParkZone T-28 Trojan, and my micro ParkZone Cessna 210 !!!!

I am expecting to arrive at Moon Port Modelers RC Club on Saturday morning (June 28th, 2008) around 7:00am

I hope to see Tony as Gerry is out of town on Vacation

Here's a vid of my buddy Rob Holland flying the full size Model 12

As some of you know, when I'm silent on the threads, I'm up to something! Well, I've been sending time with my son and building some planes. I've been sitting on this one for a while now and all this raiden tech pitts talk got me motivated to build my sleeping pythoon.

I just maidened my Pitts Monster EP ARF! This plane has a 22amp setup, eflite 25amp esc (45amp esc on the way), Tr35-30c motor, MAS 10X6 prop, Ar6000 and 4 high tork mico servos. I'm using my Hobby City 3s 20c 2100mah batties and the esc comes down cold.

The forum chatter has been very low on this bird but, they talked about a weak gear and CG problems. On take off the CG issue came to light like a home sick bug. The plane's CG was fine on the ground but, in the air it was tail heavy. I quickly trimmed it out and it still showed some signs. I landed the plane and moved the battery forward. This helped but, I will have to make a battery tray. BTW this airplane was a pain in the azz to build.

I was thinking the tr35-30c was not enough for this bird so, I had the tr35-36 ready to mount if needed. The tr35-36 maybe added to this beast when the 45amp esc comes ing the mail. The motor pulled the plane around pretty good with a fair amount of speed. The vertical was good also but, it stayed scale enough for my teaste. The landings are sometime on edge because, it doesn't slow down quickly. The flare before tuch down is amazing because, it slows to a creep nicely. This is the start of a lovely thing, I just need to get more stick time on tis beast.

BTW, those are T-28 wheels on it, the stocks aren't great. It's a little heavier then the lazer 200 but, it's around two pounds or more.
