Align 150 DFC

Standard Satellite Rx for a mcpx BL sized micro is a super idea.
Standard micro servo's big plus.
Standard Outrunner motor's at least they look to be a industry standard.
DFC head is now a standard from micro to large heli's
Square CF tail boom is a great Idea my mcpx BL are always loose and rotating.
2 pots to dial in your bird?
Finally a micro with interchangeable parts.
Align Design seems to be a winner

It looks like it's going to be a winner.. Im still going to wait a good month or two and take heed to your guys reviews before I buy one... I admit though, Im still bummed that they did not go with the 130x size.
Im not much of a " micro" guy..But it does look & sound to be better then the MCPX BL going by videos alone.

And just to "shatter" any misconceptions about the 150 being comparable to the 130:

I think most will happy if the Trex 150 comes in between the mCPX BL and 130X in terms of flight performance, durability and the need for maintenance. I suspect that depending on the selling price, HH will react shortly by reducing the price of the mCPX BL and possibly the 130X.

My LHS sells the 130X for only $10 above the mCPX BL. Obviously, the reduced need for maintenance is very important for some people.

I loved my 130x, seriously a great bird, however it needed some mods to fly the way I liked and mod after mod issues would snowball from something small to something bigger.

Rear umbrella gears would always die after a couple dozen flights, changing the rear gears to metal would cause the CF main shaft to split after a crash, changing the main shaft to a titanium one added weight, which I countered with a more powerfull lynx motor, which was harder on the head so I upgraded to a metal head ... etc ... etc ... etc ... $500+ dollar bird now.

I know we are all lucky when crashing a micro with little to no damage, with a 450+ size a crash = parts for sure, but that is what most are looking for in this micro CP dept, something where we have very little fear for trying new tricks as the micros can take a hit or two.

What I really want is the perfect in between from the bullet proof nCP-X and 130x performance, and the mCPx BL seemed the ticket, however Blades have always seem to need an upgrade or two to fly the way I want, where my Aligns fly AWESOME stock, so this 150 might be the ticket for me.

I might be an Align snob tho ...
