Gaui X3 vs TT Mini Titan v2 FBL ?

Hi guys,

I've got a 450 clone with a scorpion HK2 2221-8, mks ds530 cyclics and ds8910 tail. Cheap clone head, cheap clone frame...

I'm thinking to put these half decent electronics into a better 450, and of course you can't buy a plain Align kit anymore (not that I would really want one).

So, the TT Mini Titan v2 FBL ~$300, but comes with blades, motor and esc.
OR the Gaui X3? (I'd just be running 325's with 3S on it).

What do you think? Parts availability is also a consideration, but I know I'll have to order either way.

Funny... I posted this question 2 years ago and since then those same electronics have been in both the TT mini titan and now an X3.

Thunder tiger seems pretty dead now... Gaui's looking like it's picking up some market share.

Gaui X-3 is fine heli. My friend has been flying his over two years. This is his warm up bird before flying 500/ and 600 sized birds. TT has been disc. from Tower hobbies i have been told. I was told quality was good with TT birds. Never seen one fly.

I had a TT ball link snap off the swash in flight. The TT was very smooth and I liked it at the time. No regrets. But the gaui is a tank compared to the TT.

Tis a shame about TT! I cut my teeth on a Raptor .30. I would love to have a throw-back Raptor .30 nitro just to buzz around with. Too bad nitro is also dead.

This past weekend local RC contest. They had RC swap meet also. One guy had three nitro helis for sale cheap. No takers at all. Since li-pos work well and electric start everytime I myself would not even think of nitro heli. They may be fine but not for me.

Gas however is a pretty good option. I have a 700 gasser that I couldn't afford if I were to use batteries. I get 15 minute flights land filler ' up and go another 15 minutes.
