Willow River State Park
Many years ago I hiked about a mile to see a spectacular waterfall. Looking at a map, I saw that it was about 500 feet from a parking area, so I flew hoping I could get some shots of it.
Memory wasn't clear enough to remind me that the river is deep in a wooded gorge even before it plunges. In this pic the river is flowing right to left, and the cliffs of the far bank are visible on the left center. The falls are either there or just to the left, but too deep to see without directly overflying them.

Looks like that place gets a lot of visitors, human and otherwise.
AP of falls in that situation will be tough since it flattens things so much. You could get a straight down shot of it and never know it was a waterfall.
