Cox Li'l Stinker
Here is my last eBay purchase, the second Little Stinker I have bought. This one came with instructions and a control handle that can vary the line lengths.
The bronze reed was badly deteriorated, and the air intake was clogged. The dirtiest Pee Wee I have bought. I had to sharpen a pin to clean out the jet of the (choke type) carburetter. Neither of the Stinker engines has a screen air filter, maybe cause they take air from inside the fuselage where it is clean. |

This is my first post to rcgroups. I'll post some pics of the 1/2A planes I've been building and flying lately. This is a Pong Two, built from plans available at Flying Models. Designed by L.F. Randolph. Powered by Cox Black Widow .049 and covered with Ultracote. 2-channel R/E with standard Futaba receiver/battery and Hitec HS-81 servos.

Here's my other Pong Two that was built simultaneously with the yellow one. This one has a Cox Medallion .09 up front and a 1.5oz tank. I added a hatch for the fuel compartment and used spruce for the spars. Otherwise, it's built by the plans. It's much faster than the .049-powered version. Does nice rolls to the left with rudder and elevator only. I removed the landing gear after these pics were made and have never used them since I fly these planes in a grass field. Lots of fun!

Skydrill
Here's my latest 1/2A project. It's a Skydrill built from a kit available from Steve Adams at Select Hobbies. The parts are laser cut and it builds very nicely. It looks like a miniature Kaos. The span is 32" and it's powered by a Hypercolor Stage 3 Skyline .049 engine(a customized, modified Cox Sure Start .049 built by Tim Wiltse.) It has rudder, elevator, and ailerons operated by Hitec HS-55 servos and a Berg4L receiver. Just need to finish the radio installation and adjust the cg before the maiden flight occurs.
