Well,Rain or no rain we took`em out today. The Black Widow .049 ran three tanks out and I flew great.Made three flights and three nice dead stick landings. That is running just 20% nitro and in the rain.

Raidentech gets some bad reviews.
I wouldn't trust them.

Hi ,
Me again,,I`ve been busy building a flying. Here is what I`ve got ready.TD.09,TD.049,Black Widow, and a Hot Rod .049.They all fly and been good planes. The blue TD.049 so far flies the best. But the TD.09 hasn`t had it`s maiden flight yet.

Hi,
Me Again. Most of these planes are build as I go.The Red and Balck .049 .I tried to make look like a 1930 racer. The Blue TD .049 is a old plane I bought two years ago.It was a 25 year old plane. But it has alot of restoration.First set it up for electric and F.G. and paint ,,,it got to heavy.More like a tank than a plane. Now it has been stripped and iron-on covering. It was hard to get me away from the paint thing.I`ve spent 15 years in autobody. Now I think iron-0n is the only way to go.I still do some F.G. and Koverall on bigger planes.Like the one in the pic.Looks like a 1966 T-bird to me.That`s what I`m going to call it anyway. It will be running a Tiger .51 as in Super Tiger.Jusy another build as I go plane.Who needs kits???? Blue print are nice.As I have all the prints for alot of planes that I like. But I seem to come up with my own .
Well anyway I`m lost ...forgot what post I was in.
Keep`em up,
Wyatt

"Sasha" Russian fighter

wing span: 36 in
wing area: 270in
Lenth: 29in
Weight: 16.24oz
Engine: .049 sure start
Radio: 4channel
wing loading: 8.6oz ft square

Scratch built in a 3 week period all white foam construction some balsa in key points. Fiberglass cowl first time i ever tried making one seems nice. Covered in coverite fabric and painted all up weight is 16.24 oz which seems alright. The aileron linkage is simple because it is held in place with a screw and a piece of fuel tubing conected to a rod. Also i have fitted a throttle sleeve.

My fleet... All are 1/2a except the one on the right is J250 powered.

The yellow and white plane I built from plans. It's called a Hornet. Has AP 061 and would be an AMA legal 1/2a racing plane.

The white and green plane was designed for racing but is better left for hot doging around. Has Norvel Big Mig 061 in the picture.

The Blue and Orange plane I call Pylon Plunder. Made of my own design base on a "Dole" fruit cup as an engine cowl... Powered by a Tee Dee 049. This one trimmed up real nicely for racing....

Beautiful planes guys. Im checkin in on this forum with my first 1/2a attempt. We shall see how she flies as soon as i can source some 35% nitro....

Specs:
.020 'thimbledrome' motor. Not sure what that means, but the ebay seller seemed to think it was a strong point.
Covered in Solite. Decals are from a GWS PicoStick
AUW = 3.6oz
GWS 4ch rx with Bluebird 303 servos. A Hitec 270mah rx pack, which feels like a cinderblock to me. What are you guys using?

Very nice Vanning. Is it a Littlest Stick? I had one with the same engine, which is a COX PeeWee .020 BTW, not a TD. I used an external tank because the flight times are very short with the stock tank. Mine had micro gear, but nothing as small as what's available today. It weighed 8.5oz and was a lot of fun. At 3.6oz yours will be a blast.

Follow this link for info on setting up an external tank.

I've attached a picture of my old LS and a picture of a few TD .020s.

[QUOTE=Bipe Flier] Is it a Littlest Stick?
[QUOTE]

yup...i guess. it says here that its been updated a little. "New and improved, a tiled Acrobat file of the favorite old Fred Reese Littlest Stick. Updated by yours truly and by Gene Rock. Gene has modified the tail, the airfoil, the fuselage, shown a modern micro proportional radio, etc etc. Get it right here! ...."
I got it from Dave Fritzke's site.
